In the United States, March is dedicated to the contributions and achievements of women in different fields. With that in mind, I want to share five of my favorite quotes for Women’s History Month…

5 Empowering Women’s History Month Quotes

These pieces of wisdom are in no particular order and are meant to get you to take action. May these strengthen and inspire you as you build your empire

1. “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made… It shouldn’t be that women are the exception.” — Ruth Bader Ginsberg

This first quote speaks directly to my belief that women’s opinions and roles should be valued — in all areas of life. Our perspectives and knowledge need to be heard.

2.“Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know. That can be your greatest strength, and ensure you do things differently from everyone else.” — Sara Blakely

Not only will this statement push you out of your comfort zone, but a friend of mine also said it!

I interviewed her on Day 3 of our 10X Growth Con, and she is full of gems like these. Seeing strong women like her succeed makes me so proud.

3. “If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, then, you are an excellent leader.”  — Dolly Parton

It is obvious why I had to add this one to my favorite Women’s History Month quotes. This nugget of wisdom is spot-on with a deep-rooted “why” in us all.

I didn’t realize Dolly and I were so similar…

4. “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.” — Oprah Winfrey

As women, we are always striving for perfection. Because of that, we sometimes let a setback keep us from moving forward.

Let’s use this soundbite from Oprah as a reminder to dust ourselves off and try again.

5. “Every woman’s success should be an inspiration to another. We’re strongest when we cheer each other on.” — Serena Williams

Last, this quote illustrates the spirit of what Women’s History Month is all about. We have come so far…

But, we need to support each other as we keep breaking the glass ceiling.

I can’t wait to see what future generations of women do next.

Why I Chose THESE Quotes for Women’s History Month

I chose the above five based on both their strong message and who spoke them.

All of these women were triple threats — trailblazers, talented, and true to themselves.

At the conclusion of this article, I hope you enjoyed my favorite quotes for Women’s History Month.

Feeling motivated? Now, it’s time to make more history.
