Gold Digger Illustration

I am a gold digger.

There, I said it.  And I want you to become a gold digger too.

If anyone labels you a gold digger, I want you to shout from the rooftops, “Yes! I am a gold digger!

When most people think of gold diggers, they think of beautiful but heartless women… who hunt rich men for sport.

But when I think of gold diggers, I see the opposite.

When Grant and I first started dating, people slapped a gold digger label on me.

At first, I tried to fight against that label…

Until I realized something important.  This realization shifted my perspective and made me embrace my identity as a gold digger.

See, if someone calls you a gold digger, their label cannot hurt you.  They are simply expressing an opinion.

And let’s face it…

Anyone who calls YOU a gold digger has likely not earned the right to give you their opinion.

You did not ask for it.

So you can choose to ignore it.

Better yet… you can choose to flip the gold digger label to your advantage.

See, over the years I’ve learned why labels like “gold digger” used to sting me.  The label itself did not hurt.

What stung was the opinion I held about myself.  I was my own worst critic.

When people called me a gold digger, it “proved” – in my mind – that I was just like every other beautiful (but vindictive) woman I had ever met.

Then I realized I had 3 choices:

I could let the gold digger label sabotage my success, and crush my relationship with Grant.

I could fight tooth and nail to shake off the gold digger label, and silence my critics.

Or I could dig out the positives of being a gold digger… and exploit them to achieve my goals.

My mind told me to silence my critics.

But my gut told me to become the biggest, baddest gold digger the world has ever known!

I started by being kind to myself.

I did this by writing down everything I own or know that could benefit others.  When I did, I was amazed at how much I had to offer!

I was a literal goldmine of value to the people around me.

When I was done mining for gold within myself…

I started mining for gold in Grant.

I asked myself what I could do to push Grant to achieve his goals and dreams.

Finally, I made a list of all the ways I could expand my value through learning, self-development, and getting out of my comfort zone.

When I talk about YOU becoming a gold digger – this ^^ is the kind of gold digger I want you to be.

But listen…

It takes a big mental shift to embrace a negative label like “gold digger.”

I’ve spent years figuring out how to mine for gold in myself and others.  You can make this strategy work quicker than I did…

But that probably won’t happen if you try to go it alone.

If you want to know precisely how I became the biggest, baddest gold digger on the planet – I have something for you.
