The owner of a company in Southern California that builds, leases, and maintains aircraft hangars needed to buy a new Beechcraft airplane, so he turned to Aero & Marine Tax Professionals for help in getting a sales tax exemption for the purchase.
Russell, the company owner, said “We lease, manage, and construct aircraft hangars. We manage hangars in other states and have to do traveling to do the management. I had a plane since 16 yrs old, so it’s a continuation of that. We’ve always used a plane in the business, however. We used to do construction for the FAA all around the western states. We couldn’t fly commercial, because it was always too small communities. Then when that phased out, we started finding hangar properties at small airports in the western US.”
