This past weekend, the crowd went wild as Tim Storey dropped wisdom at the 10X Growth Conference 2022. And that’s no surprise. 

Tim Storey has been a life coach to A-list celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt, and Kanye West to name a few. However, his humble beginnings didn’t have any indication he would be inspiring the most influential people in the world. 

Before having private sit-downs with Kanye, Storey lived with the seven other members of his family in Compton, California. He never let his circumstances define him.

After sharing his upbringing, he dropped this first piece of wisdom at the 10X Growth Conference. 

Don’t live in the past

It would have been easy for the celebrity life coach to continue to sit in the difficult situation he was dealt. But he never did.

He emphasized to both the virtual and in-person attendees that talking about and “sitting in your setbacks” will never help you reach your full potential.

Tim Storey’s positive outlook and energized delivery woke up the crowd that early Sunday morning of the conference. That immediately led up to another motivational gem that Storey says is one of Oprah’s favorites. 

Get your shout back

Next, Tim Storey explained that he doesn’t chase anything. That he attracts such high-profile clientele because he is animated.

Storey asserts that many people are too concerned with appearing “professional”, and this affects their ability to be heard. 

“Little kids have a shout in the way they approach life… Some of you have let life knock the shout out of you.”
