Amazon Haul

Amazon’s new Haul service plans to beat Shein and Temu at their own game. This new storefront focuses on selling goods that are dirt cheap to win back consumers.

Will the new service catch on?

What Does Amazon Haul Have To Offer?

It’s no secret that Americans are in love with cheap consumer goods. The lower the price the better.

Shein and Temu have proven that, with the two brands skyrocketing over the past few years due to their vast array of inexpensive goods.

Now, Amazon wants to get in on the action

The Amazon Haul storefront was designed specifically to feature only products that are $20 or less, with the majority of goods being around $10…

A LOT OF THE STOREFRONT’S MERCHANDISE COSTS AROUND $1.

Standard shipping costs $3.99 but becomes free with purchases of $25 and over. And Amazon hopes you keep adding to your haul… The more you spend, the more discounts the site offers.

Amazon Haul’s array of products is pretty similar to what you’d find in Temu:

  • Makeup brushes
  • Phone cases
  • Jewelry
  • Homegoods

The only glaring downside is that shipping on these products takes between one and two weeks. Thankfully, that’s the same amount of time it takes to ship Temu packages.

Consumer Responses

The service is still in its beta stage but many shoppers have complained that Amazon Haul is not distinct enough from Amazon’s main site…

And that the service lacks the novelty that attracts people to Temu.

Temu and Shein have both been facing more and more pressure from governments around the world for unsafe products, copyright infringement, and counterfeit goods…

So Amazon’s Haul storefront is a success…

The company has everything to win.
