Danielle Johannessen 10X Hub Entrepreneur

The last time we talked with 10X Entrepreneur, Danielle Johannessen, she was a 10X Pitch-Off Winner. A lot has changed since then — including the name of her company! This is how her life has changed.

When 20-year-old Danielle won the $35,000 prize money in 2021, she was running her hairstyling business from her living room

She started her company — then named Danni’s Braiding Hub — out of necessity after being forced to drop out of college

However, after proving to the 10X Hub judges she had what it takes and some new skills, things have turned around for the Pearl region native.

Consistency Made Danielle Johannessen’s Success “Knotless”

In May of 2022, Johannessen did a massive rebranding campaign. The first step was changing the name of her hairstyling company to Knotless to convey that she was more than simple braids.

Danielle’s next actions would prove to be a little trickier, but the 10X Hub was there to support her along the way…

“I never had returning customers. Now, I do,” Johannessen says. “I could see it in my brand visibility, the Corporate Identity created for me [with the Hub’s help.] I look, feel, and portray the part now.”

However, branding was not the only aspect that leveled up for Danielle’s business.

“I not only 10X-ed my net income but I grew my net profit by 50% since the beginning of 2022 based on my half year financials,” she describes the impact of the 10X Hub on her financial growth.

Mindset Is Everything

While we are proud of the incubation program’s assistance to the entrepreneur, she is the one who had to put in the work.

“YOU HAVE TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF YOUR BUSINESS. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE DREAM WORK. AND THAT MEANS HARD WORK — GET UP, SHOW UP, GET IT DONE!”

Without a doubt, Danielle Johannessen’s ability to show up and do the hard work proves that she was the right choice for the pitch-off prize.

Aiding Danielle and other aspiring entrepreneurs’ growth is why we do everything we do
