At only 12 years old, Vinusha MK is already an accomplished culinary entrepreneur. As part of our 10X Kids series, this is the story of Vinusha’s business and her great product that gets kids off their phones and into baking.
Founding your own successful business at age 12 is a massive accomplishment in and of itself. But that’s not the only win that Vinusha MK has under her belt.
The young culinary entrepreneur also has a hands-on role as Chief Baking Officer of her company. Before that, she had carried out internships at a five-star hotel and cafes, according to You Story.
In addition, she has released an innovative baking product targeted at kids and families. As if that weren’t enough, she has also hosted multiple TEDx Talks — all before becoming a teenager.
It’s clear that ambitious Vinusha can and will achieve anything she sets her mind to.
How did Vinusha MK become a culinary entrepreneur at such a young age?
In 2019, at the age of nine, Vinusha MK founded her baking brand, Four Seasons Pastry.
Vinusha has been baking since she was eight, and her parents have supported her passion every step of the way.
“My parents were extremely supportive when they got to know that I like to bake. They enrolled me in a few baking workshops and helped me interact with a few entrepreneurs to help me take my dream further.”

Fast-forward to 2022. Now, Vinusha is the owner of her own baking brand, has prepared hundreds of cupcakes, and intends on scaling with a brick-and-mortar bakery.
Vinusha’s analog baking kit
One of Vinusha’s most creative projects to date is her analog baking kit. To create a fully intentional culinary experience, the young entrepreneur put together a kit for children and families to bake without any electronics.
When describing the idea behind the digital detox baking kit, Vinusha explains:
“How good would it be to spend time with your kids, make them focus on something indispensable, and if it was possible to do all that while baking something nice for your family?”
The box is packed with resources that promote baking as a science. Vinusha places a high focus on the education part of the process, providing informative guides and activity books.
For the time being, Vinusha balances her business ventures with baking and school. We look forward to seeing what other culinary achievements this young entrepreneur will bring to life in the years to come.
