Bad Marketing

So many entrepreneurs are so afraid of bad marketing that avoid it altogether. They’re more afraid of failing than they are of not trying. In reality, marketing is a more powerful tool than sales. And I’m going to cover how you can commit and convert with lackluster campaigns…

There’s only one kind of bad marketing

Don’t get me wrong, you can make millions of mistakes with your marketing. It’s very tempting to go back to the drawing board. But I’m going to let you in on a little secret…

THE ONLY BAD MARKETING IS NO MARKETING.

I know what you’re thinking, “Grant, I’d rather have nothing at all than something I’m not happy with.” And I’m here to tell you to put your ego aside.

The reality is that solid, persistent marketing is going to do wonders for you and your business. You could have the best strategy in the world but if it’s not consistent it is worthless.

All promo works if you don’t quit on it

Marketing is like anything else when running a business…

If you don’t put in the hard work and the hours, it’s not going to amount to anything

Conversion just means getting new audience members dedicated to your business and guess what…

YOU DON’T NEED ANY PAID ADS OR FANCY TOOLS TO DO THAT.

Personally, my marketing team and I focus on flooding my platforms with posts. I do that instead of making sure everything is perfect.

THAT DEDICATION IS WHAT GOT ME MILLIONS OF FOLLOWERS AND VIEWS ACROSS MY SOCIAL MEDIA.

The question now is, what are you going to do to make this “bad marketing” persistent? What are you willing to put into your promotion and what are you going to build from it?

Whoever ends up with the most attention winds up with the most money

Some people STILL do not believe in what consistent marketing can bring you. Let me put it this way…

IF NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU, NO ONE IS GOING TO TRUST YOU OR YOUR BRAND.

For the first 20 years of running my business, I completely avoided marketing and it led to me grinding harder for less revenue.

At my business, sales are holy.

But sales is only second to marketing

Ultimately, before you convert new audiences to buy what you’re selling, you need them to know who you are. And promoting yourself is how you do that.

You have to remember… The only bad marketing that can truly do major damage to your brand is no marketing.

The quality, consistency, and perseverance of your brand’s marketing all comes down to you.

If you still want to elevate your marketing and take it to the next level, check out my Marketing Essentials Workshop.  You can attend virtually or in person to discover ALL of my company’s conversion techniques.

But until then, keep the promotion going — whether you think it’s bad or not.

Be Great,

Grant Cardone
