Tesla Diner

Elon Musk has long been known for pushing scientific boundaries in his industries. Yet, his latest project, a drive-in Tesla diner…

Is bringing the past back to the future.

Blast To The Past: Tesla’s Diner

One of Musk’s more secretive projects, the Tesla Diner was announced in 2018 but has not received many updates throughout the years…

Until now.

Last year, Musk made a statement about the project he teased over six years ago…

“OUR TESLA FUTURISTIC DINER (GREASE MEETS THE JETSONS WITH SUPERCHARGING) IN LA SHOULD BE READY LATER THIS YEAR.”

But only this August did fans get real proof that the project was nearing completion…

In Hollywood, fans will find a two-story metallic building that will eventually (hopefully soon) be open as a 24-hour drive-in Tesla diner.

The Tesla diner/drive-in will also function as a supercharger station, with 28 chargers and a seating capacity of 200 people. The drive-in theatre portion of the concept offers two movie screens…

One on the rooftop of the diner…

And one in front of where the Teslas charge.

The theater will be showing movies that last between 15-30 minutes, which is roughly the amount of time it takes to charge a Tesla fully.

Immersive Experiences

This new Tesla diner project makes supercharging stations a place to go and hang out rather than just a spot to charge your car. It also marks Musk’s first step into the world of immersive experiences…

An industry more and more companies are investing in, with Netflix House being the latest example.

Regardless, this supercharger entertainment center/tesla diner is a new industry that Musk has yet to conquer…

But it’s not long before he does…

Be Great,
