Why you need female veterans in your business… I must begin by acknowledging and appreciating every woman or man who has served our country in the U.S. military.  Their service should be recognized and held up for valor as often as possible.  There are so many ways in which our country is better because of these souls, and when they return to civilian life it is nowhere more apparent than in business that they possess the integrity, mental toughness and discipline to excel at the highest levels.    Due to the extensive training and duress soldiers experience while serving, they are conditioned to persevere; to complete the mission or task no matter what.   How many employees do you know who take on a project with that type of resolve to complete it regardless of adversity or setback? Nichole Went, U.S. Air Force Veteran and entrepreneur with WFG, shares that the challenges female veterans face make them “PRIME for entrepreneurship.”  Between 2007 and 2012, according to data from the Survey of Business Owners, the number of businesses owned by women veterans increased by an astonishing 296 percent, to reach a total of 384,548 businesses, up from about 130,000. “The growth of veteran women entrepreneurship has been higher than any other segment of the entrepreneurship economy,” says Carla Harris, chair of the National Women’s Business Council. In the corporate world, Nichole notes that there is a “lack of appreciation for the skill set” of the military.  Fortunately, we work with WFG and appreciate female veterans, especially because so many are committed to self-improvement and demonstrate the qualities of what it takes to win in life. “Most people stop personally developing after high school/college and when situations become uncomfortable, they simply quit… No one pushes them past their complacency.”  Female veterans in business maintain the utmost integrity and have a strong desire to put others before themselves.   As entrepreneurship becomes more and more attractive, it is imperative to realize that working alongside a female veteran is one of the wisest choices you can make in business.  WFG is frankly, the “best opportunity in America for ANYONE, but particularly for those in the military.”  “In our company, I see men and women of all ethnicities and creeds winning at the highest levels.  It’s a level playing field. There are no political barriers to keep anyone from achieving success and because of that, a person with strong integrity and mental toughness can excel much faster than the average person.” Our system is structured and proven and always pushes us to be our best. We are looking to change the financial landscape of this country by providing an education and awakening people to the dream life they desire.  Female veterans of the U.S. Military, like Nichole have made a name for themselves in business and will continue breaking barriers and reaching new levels of success.
