Foldable Iphone

Since February, there have been rumors about Apple releasing a foldable iPhone. Now, sources close to the project have made statements giving this speculation more credibility. But this has been a volatile year for the tech brand. And competition already offers a similar product. So, is this the right move?

An article from The Information cited Apple insiders claiming that the company had “reached out to suppliers for components.”

These sources further went on to say that the possible design change would occur in 2026. Among other factors, there is a big issue…

AT THAT POINT, A FOLDABLE IPHONE WOULD BE AT LEAST SIX YEARS BEHIND ITS COMPETITORS.

Samsung has offered the Galaxy Z flip model since 2020 as well as having a model that folds. Still, the iPhone manufacturer has another situation on its hands…

It can’t afford another device to flop like the Apple Vision Pro which customers returned en masse.

So, is the company giving the people what they want or getting in on a trend too little, too late?

Consumers Don’t Seem to Want a Foldable iPhone…

When the tech community began to buzz about the redesign, the Apple Hub X account asked the real question…

Should Apple make the iPhone foldable?

The answer from the platform’s users was loud and clear.

As of the writing of this article, the plans to change up the iPhone are still very unofficial. In this case, Apple should look at what its supporters are saying before fully pulling the trigger.

Despite vintage being trendy, we’re not sure that applies to our modern conveniences…

Be Great,
