Apple Return

On February 2nd, the Apple Vision Pro hit the market — and floods of people have decided to return it already! This is quite the anomaly for the tech giant whose products are generally well-received. This article examines where the VR headset went wrong and if there is a possibility of redemption.

Apple Vision Pro Returns are NOT A Technical Issue?

Upon its release, there was a lot of hype for Apple’s foray into the virtual reality sector. Despite the $3,500 price tag, tech enthusiasts were excited to take the headset for a test drive.

Overall, the consensus was it was that it was “pretty cool” until they experienced effects after short-term use like:

  • Headaches
  • Eye-strain
  • Motion Sickness
  • Pain from the set itself

Shortly after its release, customers spoke out on social media about their intent to return the Apple product…

Mainly, the hardware of the product is the main complaint with the Vision Pro. Unlike an Apple Watch — which is recently back on sale — the headset is limited in its adjustability to users.

However, some techies are saying that the VR device is lacking in utility and entertainment. One Reddit user wrote this to justify the return of their Apple Vision Pro:

“IF I’M NOT USING THIS FOR PRODUCTIVITY, AND IF I DON’T LOVE IT FOR ENTERTAINMENT, AND IF THERE AREN’T ENOUGH GAMES TO PLAY ON IT – I JUST CAN’T JUSTIFY KEEPING IT.”

Don’t worry about Apple yet. Because many of the same people returning the headset can’t wait to see what the second version will look like…

Better Luck in the Next Gen

According to the tech publication, The Verge, there is strong interest in the next generation of the Apple Vision Pro…

ONCE ALL THE KINKS ARE WORKED OUT.

For the moment, the product just doesn’t fit into what consumers want and need. After all, the first cell phones and laptops weren’t successful until they got leaner and meaner…

Unfortunately, that leaves Apple with a lot of expensive return merchandise until VR headsets do the same

Be Great,
