In honor of Women’s History Month, Elena Cardone empowers young women with a mentoring workshop.

On March 10, the Grant Cardone Foundation housed 35 young women from the PACE Center for Girls at 10X HQ. The organization supports at-risk middle and high school-aged girls with academics, counseling, and life skills. We have partnered with them in the past and knew that they would be perfect candidates for Elena’s workshop.

“After remembering how my teenage years were difficult daily, I felt it was timely and important to give back and provide a pillar of strength, optimism, and focus during a mentoring workshop for today’s youth that remains the cornerstone of America’s future.”

— Elena Cardone

The 35 girls received a tour of every department of 10X Headquarters and a copy of the 10X Kids Book as part of the experience. However, the highlight was when Elena addressed the young women directly in the classroom.

Mentoring Workshop to 10X Young Women’s Goals

Elena didn’t sugarcoat things in her mentoring workshop with the young ladies from PACE. She shared that after losing her best friend in a house fire as a child, she turned to alcohol and drugs.

“I was so angry back then and I put on this tough shell… I was taught never to rely on anyone. But you can’t build an empire on your own.”

— Elena on how beliefs and what she had been taught about money limited her

The group then shared their goals, hopes, and dreams with Elena in a Q&A session where she gave advice and feedback. At this point, she guided the group through the goal-setting exercise at the beginning of the 10X Kids Book.

Watching these young women feel energized and motivated about their goals was truly moving. Seeing our impact in action makes all we do worthwhile. We look forward to seeing what history these young women go on to make.
