Understanding the 3 T’s —transactional, transitional, and transformative thinking— is essential to leading a strong team. This is the key to being a respected and admired leader and it’s the basis of understanding where you’re at, where you want to go, and how to get there… with a team.

Let’s take a closer look at the 3 T’s…

The first of the 3 T’s, Transactional, involves the little things that you and your team do every single day that help drive the business forward in some way – such as, answer the phones, file reports, update the CRM…These are very granular and repetitive tasks.

At the end of the day, it’s the little things that matter, and sometimes, not many people pay attention to these until something goes wrong. BUT, failure can teach us more than successes can, because…

…you have to live in transition if you want to improve.

Failure is just another opportunity to LEARN and do better next time. Failure isn’t the “end all, be all”. Failure is what will help you become who you’re meant to be. Because if it didn’t work, it wasn’t meant to work.

And it’s better to know where you went wrong than to wonder how you got it right.

In this state, you’re driving to something much bigger, much greater than where you’re at today. This is the part where we evolve.

It’s truly the culmination of the other 2 T’s; it’s the little things, and the lessons and growth that truly get us to TRANSFORM and go to the next level.

As a leader, you need to be able to articulate how you’re moving across these 3 T’s. It’s the process of how you go from where you’re at to where you dream of being.

And here’s a tip…

The single best way to become a better leader, entrepreneur, or person is by modeling, mimicking, mastering, and multiplying what works.
