Trump Drops Shoes at Sneaker Con Philadelphia

Over the February 17th weekend, footwear enthusiasts had mixed reactions to Sneaker Con Philadelphia’s surprise guest…

THE 45TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, DONALD TRUMP.

However, Donald Trump is no stranger to handling criticism. Nevertheless, the former president wasn’t there for a new pair of kicks, he was there to launch his shoe line.

They are named the, “Never Surrender High-Top Sneakers. And apparently, Mr. Trump has been working on these shoes for some time…

“THIS IS SOMETHING I’VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT FOR 12 YEARS, 13 YEARS, AND I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE A BIG SUCCESS.”

While it is no surprise that the former president thinks highly of the product, does it have what it takes to be a hit

Specs on the “Never Surrender High-Top Sneaker”

As the name suggests, Trump’s first shoes are high-top sneakers.

The presidential footwear is gold and features an American flag on the side. Additionally, there is a capital “T” incorporated into its design.

To get a pair of your own, it will set you back $399.

Whether this sounds like your style or not, there is definitely a market for them…

BECAUSE TRUMP’S “NEVER SURRENDER” SHOES SOLD OUT — FAST.

That being said, does that mean we’ll see more politician-designed fashion gracing the runways?

Are Trump Shoes for Fashion or Marketing?

The former President may have been working on these high-tops for years, but we doubt his passion is fashion…

Mr. Trump announced the shoes’ release one day after the Trump Organization was ordered to pay $335 million in a civil fraud case. Also, he still plans to run as the candidate for the Republican party.

Either way you look at it, these sneakers are for publicity at the very least.

But at the end of the day, style is subjective. Who are we to judge this one?
