Tom Brady couldn’t even wait a week to crack the door open for a comeback.
Brady, who announced his retirement last month, said on his “Let’s Go!” podcast, “Never say never” and “I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now.”
My prediction is Brady will make a comeback to play one more year
I mean think about it, he proved during this season that he could’ve kept playing. It’s not like he’s getting worse as he ages.
The fact that he walked away after leading the NFL with 5,316 passing yards and 43 touchdown passes really proves that he can still produce at a high level.
I don’t think anyone would doubt Brady’s ability if he were to make a comeback for the 2022 NFL season.
Even Rob Gronkowski, one of Brady’s closest friends and former Buccaneers teammate, believes Brady will return to the NFL.
“The guy can play at any age, if he’s 50 years old, he can still come back… The guy’s a beast. He can play anytime.”
— Rob Gronkowski for USA Today
Whether Tom Brady comes back or not, I think there’s something to be learned from all of this.
You see how everyone is talking about Brady after he hinted he could return to the NFL?
Well, that’s a smart strategy. It’s suspenseful, it keeps people thinking — will he come back or not? We’re constantly talking about him in some regard, which keeps him relevant for the purpose of business outside of football.
I’ve always been saying that money follows attention. That’s exactly what Tom Brady doing right now, and I think he should be applauded for it.
So, what are your thoughts? You think Tom Brady will return to the NFL, or it’s officially over for the GOAT? Let me know in the comments below. 👇
