Tesla China

Despite its best efforts, Tesla cannot seem to get out of hot water as it recalls millions of cars in China. Some electric vehicles affected by the issue can be fixed with an update. Yet, that is not the case for all.

And, the EV manufacturers have had this same problem in the past…

Alongside a recent stock drop, Tesla announced that it must recall approximately 1.68 million cars in China.

The Wall Street Journal specified certain models manufactured in Tesla’s Chinese factories between late 2020 to mid-2024 have a defect…

SOME OF THOSE EVS CANNOT DETECT OR ISSUE WARNINGS WHEN THE HOOD IS UNLATCHED.

But, that’s not all. The same hood malfunction occurred in American Teslas as well. From this, 1.85 million electric cars left US roads.

Tesla says most vehicles in the United States and China can be restored to street-ready via an over-the-air update. Further, the company states they will reach out to owners who need more assistance.

Nevertheless, this is yet another black mark on the carmaker’s record…

Tesla Recall in China is Fifth This Year for Carmaker

Including China, Tesla has issued five recalls in 2024 alone.

The irregularities among the brand’s cars range from…

The cars failed to warn drivers when seatbelts are not detected…

No indication when the electric vehicles drive backward…

And, unlocking doors during the impact of an accident.

This is not an ideal situation that we hope the company can get under control soon.

Be safe and be great,
