For most sales people, closing is the hardest part of selling. So, they avoid it like the plague.
Which is the wrong thing to do.
Closing is the most critical of all sales skills. And until you nail it, you’re playing around. You’re not a real pro.
If you can close, you can sell. If you can’t close, you can’t sell. Simple as that.
In this article series, I’m going to show you how to become a Master Closer.
I’ll tell you exactly what to do. But you have to put the work in.
The first thing is…
You’ve Got to Get Your Head Right
So many sales people look at the close backwards.
They think the close is a selfish act. Like it’s just you looking to ‘get’.
But it couldn’t be any further from the truth.
The truth is, the close is for the customer.
If you have a product that solves a problem for your prospect… and you don’t close… then you’re robbing the prospect.
You’re keeping them in pain – like a doctor who ignores a sick patient.
So, do your duty and close.
The Close is 100% of Your Earnings
If you don’t close you don’t get paid.
When you go home at night and your spouse asks, “how was your day?”
What they really mean is, “how’d we do?”
Or at least that’s what they should mean.
Your job is to make the most money possible. That’s the only real way you can help your family. It’s the only way you can help your church.
Listen, let me drill this in…
You don’t get paid from doing demonstrations. You don’t get paid for spending time with prospects either.
100% of your money starts with the close.
If you don’t close, you don’t get money. And without money, you’re powerless.
So, don’t shy away from closing. Embrace it. Commit right now to becoming the best closer on the planet.
Now that your head is right…
I’ll share with you 7 things you must have before a close can take place.
I promise you, #7 is something you won’t see anywhere else. But it alone can double your closing rate – or better.
