Truth be told, I wasn’t always in love with real estate. I knew my husband saw it as a good investment. However, apart from the big picture, I didn’t see the true power of real estate — especially for women. I have definitely changed my mind since then…

Now, I am passionate about women using real estate as a tool for financial freedom — so much so, I got my real estate license a couple of years ago!

Nonetheless, I am not telling you to run out and take the realtor’s test to make this vehicle work for you. There are tons of reasons and ways to use this tool to build our empires.

Here are just a couple of my favorites…

Legacies That Cash Flow

As a mother, one of the most important things to me is leaving a legacy behind for my daughters

Grant and I have taken measures to ensure the girls are taken care of should anything happen to us. A key element of that is real estate.

Whether you’re a single mom or just have people you want to look out for, you can “will” investments to whoever you choose. Then, that real estate could pay them money each month as long as they own it.

Ladies, real estate can empower us to have that impact, and it is not selfish to want it.

On the other hand, it also has the capability for us to finally get on equal footing as men…

In Real Estate, Men and Women Are on the Same Playing Field

Another advantage of women using real estate to create wealth is that it’s one of the few places where men and women have the same rules

Unfortunately, as far as the world has come, there are still many industries where women get the short end of the stick…

Rare occurrences aside, male and female realtors/investors have the same opportunities as one another.

And this fact is something we should leverage for our benefit.

Here’s to Strong Legacies

In the end, real estate has been a powerful tool for women for decades now.

I am sure we can all think of a friend who got her realtor license or started flipping houses when the kids went to school.

All that is great, but NOW is our time to use real estate to its full potential

We women all deserve the life of our dreams and strong legacies. Real estate has the potential to get us there.
