Learn About Money

In America, we are dangerously misinformed about creating wealth  — and it is no wonder! We all learn the same misconceptions about money growing up. Recently, my video team and I took to the streets to see how deeply this was ingrained in our society…

A couple of months ago, I was in Las Vegas preparing for the 10X Growth Conference

While there. I was overwhelmed by the number of people living on the streets begging for cash. But there was something that shocked me even more…

ALL OF THEM HAD LEARNED THE SAME MONEY MYTHS I HAD — VERBATIM.

Here is what I discovered about these widespread beliefs…

What Dangerous Lessons We ALL Learn About Money

As I mentioned, there is a significant homeless population on the Vegas Strip. Because I am passionate about financial literacy, I wanted to know how they got there.

Every one of them had different life experiences…

One had a problem with finding and keeping work.

Another struggled with drug addiction.

However, they all knew and thought the following rules were the way out. Tell me if any of these sound familiar…

“A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned”

I can almost guarantee this is a lesson you learned about money.

And, all of the people I interviewed believed that their inability to save money was the reason they weren’t rich.

THE IDEA OF SIMPLY EARNING MORE DIDN’T OCCUR TO ANY OF THEM!

I can’t blame them. This concept doesn’t occur to everyday people either.

The fact of the matter is that you can’t save your way to wealth, but you can’t work forever either…

We Learn About “Working Hard” for Money

Now, don’t get me wrong…

YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD TO EARN MONEY.

I am all about the hustle on the come-up. But financial freedom means eventually having your money work for you.

Past generations are incredibly guilty of making this mistake. They would be loyal to a job for 30 or 40 years, then find they don’t have enough to live on in retirement.

The hard truth I learned from these interviews is how devastating these preconceptions can be.

So, what can be done about it?

How to ACTUALLY Create Wealth

From here on, the solution to all of this and to turn things around is to make sure we learn and teach the principles of making money.

OTHERWISE, MORE AND MORE OF THE MIDDLE CLASS WILL FALL INTO POVERTY.

In contrast, the good news is that there are only three things you need to learn about money to become affluent.

  1. How to earn it.
  2. How to keep it.
  3. And, how to multiply it.

I go deeper into these strategies in my Millionaire Employee Method which you can check out here

Regardless of how you do it, I want you to learn the right things about money and be successful.

The world needs you to be great,
