In anticipation of his next showdown, Jake Paul showed off his latest move…
He announced the launch of his men’s skincare line.
What exactly is going through the mind of the Youtuber/influencer turned boxer?
Jake Paul Flexes His New Business
On June 12, Jake Paul announced the launch of “W”, his latest business endeavor which hones in on selling men’s skincare products.
“W” which is short for “winning”, was formulated and designed for men who care about their appearance but are still ready to break a sweat.
The new personal care line will be sold exclusively in Walmart (in stores and online) with the products available at launch being available at $10 or less.
Jake Paul’s brand launched with three products ready to hit shelves. These items include:
- Body Wash
- Body Spray
- Antiperspirant Deodorant
The company has already stated that they are looking to expand into shampoo and conditioner, face wash, and hair products.
Paul’s timing for the launch is just too good to be a coincidence. After all, Jake Paul is slated to fight the legend himself, Mike Tyson, in a boxing match slated for November 15th.
The influencer already shared that he’s hoping the highly-anticipated showdown will boost his skincare line’s image.
HOPEFULLY, WHEN IT’S TIME FOR THE BIG MATCH, PAUL CAN MAKE LIKE HIS BRAND AND WIN.
But when he should be thinking about his moves in the ring… Why did Jake Paul decide to launch his new brand?
Heading To The Showdown
According to an interview with CNBC, Jake Paul noticed that men’s personal care could do better.
“We saw this old and outdated category where the competitors have been on the shelves in the exact same way for the past 20 years…”
While women’s beauty and skincare is undoubtedly a giant industry…
With brands like Glossier seemingly reaching overnight success…
Its male counterpart has lagged behind.
Jake Paul said it best:
“WE JUST BELIEVED WE HAD A BETTER VISION, BETTER PRODUCT AND COULD DISRUPT THIS ENTIRE SPACE.”
And in terms of recognizing an underserved market, Paul stumbled across a golden opportunity.
After all… the men’s skincare market is in the middle of a huge boom. Between 2018 and 2023, men’s grooming grew into a $28 billion industry…
AND IT’S EXPECTED TO BE WORTH MORE THAN $100 BILLION IN THE NEXT 4 YEARS.
However, Jake Paul is in a unique position to make massive gains in this market specifically.
A recent report found that an estimated 50% of Gen Z men turn to social media, specifically TikTok, for brand and product recommendations.
Jake Paul, with almost 10 years on YouTube and 27 million followers on Instagram alone…
Can definitely turn to his fans to provide a loyal customer base.
Fighting Forward
Now, with the launch of “W” Jake Paul is going to be entering a whole new arena…
And I’m not talking about the one with Mike Tyson.
Be Great,
