In September 2008 the market in the United States fell out until June 2009. Bob Duggan took over Pharmacyclics in September 2008 when it had been losing money and the board was leaving their company. They were valued at $15-million in the market. In March 2015 Pharmacyclics was purchased for $21-billion.
