IKEA magnate lives in modest house, eats at his store’s cafe and shops at local market. IKEA founder, 87, is known for extreme care with money. Ingvar Kamprad flies budget class, takes the bus and eats at IKEA cafe. Yet he also owns a country estate in Sweden and a French vineyard.

It is reported that he was once turned away from a swish business awards ceremony because he had just hopped off the bus and takes home the packets of salt and pepper from cafes.
