A lot of folks collect dollars. I don’t.
I collect opportunities.
If someone offers me a great opportunity, I’ll take it… even if my short-term payoff is zero.
Because I believe opportunity pays more than cash in the long run.
Think about it.
A stranger walks into your office and asks to work as your “marketing guy.”
He says, “I need $2,000 upfront. Then I’ll get to work.” (This is classic short-term, dollar-collecting behavior, by the way.)
Would you say “Yes”?
I wouldn’t.
Now let’s say a second stranger swings by your office. He wants to work as your marketing guy too.
Only, instead of asking for cash upfront…
This stranger offers to drive traffic to your business, write emails, hand out flyers, etc. – for free.
Skepticism aside, you’re more likely to say “yes” to the second guy, aren’t you?
And who knows. If he proves himself, you might pay that guy for years to come.
You might introduce him to your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone who needs a reliable marketing guy.
All of a sudden, a small amount of free labor has turned into a bunch of high-value leads. Why?
Because the second guy collected opportunities – not cash.
I know this works.
It’s how I built a $5.5 million dollar business in 90 days on “Undercover Billionaire.”
Of course, you can’t give away all your time for free. In “Undercover Billionaire,” I did it because I had to. I had only $100 in my pocket.
And no contacts.
You might have heard me say this before: Contacts equal contracts.
The #1 thing you need to create opportunities is contacts. These are people that know who you are.
They’re people who can help you make money by:
Hiring you…
Promoting you…
Mentoring you…
Partnering with you…
Investing in you…
Or having your back…
If you’ve been in business a while, you might tell yourself you already have a contact list. But are they qualified contacts?
Are your contacts people who can take your business to the next level?
Or are they contacts who keep you playing a small game?
I always say… if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.
But where do all the smart people hide?
I can’t tell you where the world’s smartest people hide all the time. Ultra-successful people are very secretive.
But I can tell you where they’ll be on February 14-16, 2023.
They’ll be at 10X Growth Conference in Las Vegas.
10X Growth Conference is the largest business conference in the world. It attracts the biggest names in entrepreneurship.
And it creates thousands of opportunities for business owners like you.
I just told you how you need to build a list of contacts if you want to make more money.
At 10X Growth Conference, meeting qualified contacts is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
It’s why you need to be there.
But listen…
Last count, we only had a small number of tickets left. I don’t know when 10X Growth Conference will sell out.
But I do know this event sells out every year. It’s a question of when… not if tickets will run out.
You’ll be kicking yourself if you miss out. I wouldn’t risk waiting if I were you.
Here’s the link to grab one of the few remaining tickets for a HUGE discount.
Keeping it real,
Grant
