For Black History Month, students from the 5000 Role Models program were invited to 10X Headquarters for a special event.
On February 1, 2023, Cardone Training Technologies hosted our second event in collaboration with 5000 Role Models.
35 young men joined us in the 10X classroom for a workshop on tools for success like:
- Goals
- Perseverance
- Commitment
Not only that, they received motivation from CTTI employees and a very special guest…
But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
We are going to walk you through the day’s events in order, starting where all greatness begins — with MASSIVE goals.
Setting Olympic-Sized Goals
The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project’s aim is to empower at-risk boys to become strong members of society.
For that reason, we had to include the goal-setting exercise from “The 10X Kids Book” in the workshop.
When the students finished writing, one participant shared his goal was to compete in the 2024 Olympics!
In honor of incredible dreams and Black History Month, a member of our Board of Directors spoke to the 5000 Role Models students…
Internationally-acclaimed and official DJ for the Miami Heat, DJ Irie.
The Miami-based DJ inspired the young men with his story. He relayed the obstacles of growing up in St. Croix and pursuing a career in music…
However, DJ Irie said that dedication, hard work, and drive ultimately led to his success.
Additional 10X team members also educated the attendees on their fields including:
- Real Estate
- Non-profit organizations
- Customer Relations
Further, the Grant Cardone Foundation plans to collaborate with this project for future events…
Partnering with 5000 Role Models for Black History Month and Beyond
The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project works year-round — not just for Black History Month.
The Grant Cardone Foundation will continue to do the same with more workshops already in the works.
These events are designed to build upon one another. That way, these young men may be equipped with financial literacy tools to succeed in any endeavor.
Come back to read about our exciting future events!
Be Great,
GCTV Staff
