The Grant Cardone Foundation (GCF) has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Broward County for their School to Work program. Our founder Grant Cardone’s company, Cardone Training Technologies, Inc. (CTTI), was incorporated into this collaboration. This is what happened at the launch of the exciting partnership…
On October 25, 2022, GCF and CTTI hosted the first session of the School to Work program at 10X Headquarters.
All of the students in attendance were seniors from Hallandale Magnet High School. As teenagers, they’re at a pivotal crossroads in life where they make major decisions.
This BBBS initiative aims to match young adults with interests in certain industries with active members of those fields.
As such, 17 GCF and CTTI staff were paired with mentees, also known as “Littles.” The first steps were to help the Littles set goals, create vision boards, and participate in a Q&A session regarding future career paths.
Since the goals of both GCF and School to Work are to provide a real-world view of these jobs, we gave them the full experience of an operational company…
The Littles from Big Brothers Big Sisters Saw What It Takes to Be 10X
Aside from discussing their aspirations with their mentors, the Littles had the opportunity to see how many pieces it takes to make the 10X dream work.
A few examples of the CTTI departments that participated are:
- Executive Team
- Video Production
- Social Media
- Graphic Design
- And, of course, Sales!
After this initial session, the adolescents will return to 10X HQ once a month to meet with their mentors. The program will continue until June 2023, when the seniors are due to graduate.
Both the Grant Cardone Foundation and Cardone Training Technologies, Inc. are so excited to see how this journey with Big Brothers Big Sisters positively impacts these young peoples’ lives.
Stay tuned for updates about the rest of these School to Work sessions and the students’ success stories.
