If you’re wondering what I would do if I was 16 or 20 years old and starting the game again, here’s my advice to my younger self.

I constantly get asked, “What advice would you give to a teenager or a 20-something who wants to become successful?”

Well, if I could go back in time and talk to my younger self, this is what I’d tell him.

Top 4 Pieces of Advice I’d Give to My Younger Self

1Dream Big

Firstly, know that you cannot dream big enough. You can do more than you’re currently doing.

But you can’t do more if you hang around little thinkers, complainers, and blamers. In other words, you have to associate with people who think big, dream big, and do big things. It could be your family members, friends, or people you go to school with, but there’s a time and a place to hang around those people.

What can you do to do more in life?

Find your mission and purpose, and see what you’re great at. Years from now, you’ll thank yourself for working hard and believing in yourself.

Watch how dreaming big can change your life.

2Make Good Choices

My younger self was someone who abused drugs, hung around the wrong people, was poorly influenced, and always made terrible choices.

If you don’t start spending time with people who are good for your physical health, mental health, and well-being, you will not make it to your dreams.

You have to be willing to walk away from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and bad relationships.

It’s not going to be easy. But if you don’t make the choice, you’ll never get to where you want to be.

3Pay the Price Today

I’ve been paying the price since I was 25 years old, and I told myself to quit drinking and drugging. Practicing things today builds discipline, good habits, and trust within yourself.

Pay the price now to pay any price in the future.

For example, if you want to get fit, start hitting the gym every day. To build a successful business, start learning and stop partying every weekend. Get up early, eat healthier, do the jobs you hate.

And watch what happens when you start implementing these changes.

4Realize that Money Matters

Finally, get your money right and learn not to waste it on material possessions that clutter your space and don’t add value to your life.

Don’t lose your money. use it to make yourself better. hire employees. Invest in training. market your company and yourself.

To conclude, if you follow this advice to my younger self, you’ll end up with a life beyond anything you can dream or imagine.

Your own future self will thank you.
