Then it is time to wake up, because you are letting your circumstances define you! If you want change tomorrow, you need to change your actions now.   Here are 8  tips to start living consciously and create the life you want:   1. Get inspired If you haven’t changed before, why would you change now? The trick is to find the right incentive. Finding your passion will provide motivation that speaks to your heart and your mind. When you are truly passionate about something, you will feel like you have no other choice than to make it happen. Find out what that inspiration is for you. Finding the right inspiration will be the fuel to take yourself or your organization to the next level.
  1. Be clear on your values
Everybody has a unique set of core beliefs that guide every choice you make. These Core values define what true success means to you. Your Core values tell you what conditions need to be fulfilled to feel truly happy and successful in your life.  These values summarize what is most important to you. Do you know what your Core Values are?   Only if you are clear on what is truly important to you, can you make the right decisions that lead to personal success and fulfillment.
  1. Define a vision for your life
In your vision you set out the course for your future. You define the ultimate direction you want your life, career and world to go in. If you don’t have that clear vision to guide you, you end up going in circles. To find your vision, ask yourself these 2 questions: How do I want my world to be? And what am I going to do about it?   Once you have a clear focus on where you want to be in the future, you can commit to the right actions.   4. Commit Many people struggle with commitment. You have so many options that it is easy to be afraid to choose one and get stuck. But not committing to anything, is also a commitment: A commitment to definitely not achieving what you want. Over thinking your options will not overcome your fear to fail, action will. Don’t be afraid. Choose a direction, don’t look back and go for it unapologetically.     5. Set goals A vision or dream is not enough. A goal is your plan to get into action. You set goals by first defining what it is, that will bring you happiness and success in the long term (10 years). Second, you specify measurable steps that will bring you closer to your long term goals. These steps specify what you want to achieve when it comes to your wealth, health, emotional stability and career in the short term (1-3 years). Last, set deadlines for your goals, to ensure you won’t procrastinate. Set you goals high and don’t stop until you achieve them.    6. Get started Once you set the right goals, YOU NEED TO GET STARTED! True success is setting out a path and taking deliberate actions to achieve the milestones along that path.  Break up your 1 year goals in smaller steps and make weekly or daily commitments to yourself to work on your goals. Having someone to hold you accountable for those commitments really helps, so get yourself a body, mentor or coach to support you. Take action. Even the smallest step will bring you closer to your goal than the biggest intentions!    7. Get out of your comfort zone: If you want different results, take different actions. There is no growth within your comfort zone. You need to try new things and overcome new challenges to experience a true feeling of success. Only when you stick your neck out, will you discover that you are capable of more than you thought. When you experience discomfort, there is an opportunity for you to grow.     8. Surround yourself with the right people Why do you keep spending so much time with people that are not helping you to reach the next level? Don’t waste your energy on people that are negative or that tell you, you can’t do it. Those people don’t want you to succeed because that reminds them that they are not moving forward. Be conscious about who you spend your time with. Surround yourself with people that have more money, more knowledge, more power, more connections or more insight than you and learn from them. Surround yourself with the people that reflect the kind of person you want to become
